Luke’s 2nd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Luke’s 2nd birthday. We planned to do it this weekend “just in case” – and it’s just as well!

Despite the fact I’m still pretty sure that he was oblivious to the cause of the celebration – he seemed to have a great day! 🙂

It started out a little frantically as I lost the car keys – only discovered right before we were leaving for church. Turns out Luke had tidied them up and put them away in his Thomas the Tank Engine box in his bedroom. And then put the lid back on the box. Needless to say, it wasn’t the first place we looked!

After church we met my parents, Julian, Nick, Yolandi and Chelsea at Luke’s favourite restaurant (Swiss Chalet!)

After lunch we went back to our place for presents and cake:

Then came the cake (my attempt at Thomas + Annie – Clarabelle wouldn’t fit on the tray so she stayed in the fridge):

So that was Luke’s birthday party – I’ll add more pictures from my mum when I get them!
