“Buck-buck and fwize”

Luke absolutely LOVES Swiss Chalet. If you ask him what he wants to eat for ANY meal, he’ll tell you (9 times out of 10) that he wants “buck-buck” (chicken), “fwize” (fries), “bun” and “dip” (ketchup).

Swiss Chalet was Luke’s first “proper” meal – he never went in for all that baby food nonsense (or any of the homemade baby purees I’d prepared for him).

Swiss Chalet has increasingly become our Sunday lunch – and yesterday we had the added fun of having Jacob, Anna and baby Lily come along too!

Here’s a great picture of Luke at the restaurant (just after being given a fantastic book of Thomas the Tank Engine poetry!)

Mmmm… Swiss Chalet. They had a single outlet in Trinidad when I was a child (it’s been closed since) and I still have very fond memories of that food. Luke has excellent taste!

Lovely photo! Luke has grown up so much. We are both looking forward to a meal at the Swiss Chalet.
