Blog reading level – Elementary school!

Over at Glen’s blog he was using this tool. It goes through the words used on your blog and assess the reading level of your blog. We came out at elementary level! so I have tried to up our reading average – so here goes:

Pseudoantidisestablishmentarianism is sometimes good. Although if you were to catch Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis you would be very ill. Although I am told that Pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism is a gene disorder.

Dang! still elementary school!!

So what about some of the blogs on my side bar?

Jeff – you are undergrad!

Alex – you are with us – stuck in grade 2!

Browns – look at you guys – junior high!!

Jess – your in the elementary class with us

well done Lucas and Shannon – your undergrads!

The sad thing about this is that Mac and Melissa are rated genius! goes to show computers know nothing!

That is too funny! I might have to steal this little idea for a blog post myself. 🙂

Why are you surprised? There are two plausible reasons for this:

    1. The evil-genius theory based on James Bond novels is supported by much of the world’s thinking. It goes something like this, ‘white southern American males who hold to Reformed Christian theology and vote conservatively in elections are destroying the world.’ So we might be genius, but only evil-genius.

    2. The Michael Moore based GW Bush conspiracy theory states, ‘GW Bush has used his illegal wiretapping authority to make all IP addresses in the south ‘genius’. This is to resurrect his legacy and insure excessive oil company profits.’ So we are caught up in a genius conspiracy. I don’t know how the oil companies work into this scenario, but they seem to be ubiquitous in Bush criticism.
